EXO159 (the turquoise planet) has yielded up similar ‘pods’ to those found on X394 (the red planet). Coloured a bright blue they are a similar shape to the previous find but with one crucial difference. These were picked off the surface of the turquoise liquid that (as far as we know) covers the planet. The drones (operated by post humans from an orbiting craft) descended through the gases and dragged specially designed nets across the surface of the liquid. MOSE scientists will be analysing the blue material on the outside. Is this a dried version of the liquid stuck to the pods from the same family as those on X394 or are they a new species?
